This Privacy Policy explains how SunarOne (“SunarCode”, “we”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use SunarOne (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
- Account & business details: name, email address, phone number, business name, business type, and address.
- Business data you enter: products, inventory, customers, suppliers, invoices, payments, and expenses.
- Payment information: subscription payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive payment metadata (status, amount, reference IDs) but do not store your full card or bank details on our servers.
- Usage & device data: log data, IP address, and basic device information used to operate and secure the Service.
2. How we use your information
- to provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- to process subscription payments and send transactional emails (e.g. verification codes, receipts);
- to provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- to power features you invoke, including the AI assistant (which only summarises your own tenant’s data);
- to protect against fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.
3. The AI assistant
The AI assistant answers questions grounded only in your own business data. Queries run through a read-only, tenant-scoped database path; the assistant never reads another tenant’s data and never invents figures. Where a third-party language model is used to phrase answers, only the minimal data needed to phrase a response is sent.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, under appropriate safeguards:
- Razorpay — payment processing;
- Resend — transactional email delivery;
- Cloud hosting & database providers — to host the Service and store your data;
- AI/LLM provider — to phrase assistant responses, as described above;
- law enforcement or regulators where required by law.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After account closure we retain data only as required to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, encryption of sensitive secrets at rest, and database row-level security that isolates each business’s data from every other. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@sunarone.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
