Add your staff and give each person exactly the access they need. Owners manage the team; managers can view it.
Add an employee
Under Team, add a person with their role and a starting password (they can change it later under My Account).

You can also change someone’s role, reset a password, or deactivate a person who has left — deactivating revokes their access immediately.
What each role can do

| Owner | Everything, including billing, settings, and managing the team. |
| Manager | Run the shop day-to-day: sell, stock, customers, suppliers, finance and reports; view the team. |
| Cashier | Billing at the POS, sales, customers and returns. |
| Inventory staff | Products, stock, purchases, transfers and forecast. |
Menus and pages are enforced by role on the server — hiding a button is never the only guard. If a staff member can’t see something, it’s because their role doesn’t include it. The last owner can’t be removed or demoted.
Shift-code login (optional)
For tighter off-hours control, turn on shift codes (Settings → Security). When enabled, a non-owner must enter a one-time shift code along with their password to log in, and their session ends when the shift ends.
- Owner/manager clicks Start shift for a staff member on the Team page.
- The code is shown once — give it to the staff member.
- They log in with their password and that code. End shift stops their access.
My Account
Every user has a My Account page to change their own password (useful after logging in with a temporary one your owner set).
